The former White House Press Secretary is set to appear on the Late Late Show tonight.
Sean Spicer enjoyed a pint of Guinness in well-known Dublin city centre pub Doheny & Nesbitt on Thursday night.
Spicer took to the Baggot Street pub ahead of his appearance on The Late Late Show on Friday, posting a picture to his personal Instagram account of a pint of Guinness with the caption ‘Welcome back to Ireland’.

It appears that the former White House Communications Director has been experiencing all that Dublin 2 has to offer, with a so-called ”Irish breakfast” in the Shelbourne Hotel first on his list Friday morning.

On 22 December, 2016, Spicer was named the White House press secretary for the newly-elected US President, Donald Trump. On 24 December of that year, he was also named the communications director for the Trump administration after the sudden and unexpected resignation of Jason Miller.
Six months later, Spicer resigned following a tumultuous time at the White House.
Friday night’s Late Late Show will see Ryan Tubridy quiz Spicer on what it was like to be at the centre of a global media storm after he first faced the press in the White House.
