Tina Satchwell disappeared earlier this year.

Searches are taking place in Youghal over the disappearance of local woman Tina Satchwell, who went missing earlier this year.

Tina was last seen at her home on Grattan Street on 20 March.

RTÉ are reporting that members of the Garda Water Unit are to carry out underwater searches in Youghal harbour, while members of the Divisional Search Team and Garda Dog Unit are also carrying out searches at other locations.

Tina, originally from Fermoy, had been living in Youghal for two years with her husband Richard. He reported her missing on 24 March, four days after her disappearance.

Richard Satchwell – who appealed for any information on her whereabouts on Crimecall at the end of June – told Gardaí that two suitcases were missing as well as €26,000 in cash.

A search had been carried out at a premises in Youghal in June.
