Seven people have been hospitalised after a five-car collision in Carlow.
The incident occurred on the N80 at Kilbride Crossroads, south of Ballon, at 6.30pm on Monday, 28 October.
The injured parties were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny Hospital, University Hospital Waterford and Wexford General.
Gardaí have said that their injuries are non-life threatening.
The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
