Sinead O’Connor says Prince was a ‘hard drug user’ and has blamed a popular entertainer for his death

Carl Kinsella

No stranger to controversy, Sinead O’Connor has posted an extremely incendiary message to Facebook regarding the death of music icon Prince two weeks ago.

In the message, she places the blame on American entertainer and talk show host Arsenio Hall – saying that’s where Prince got all of his drugs ‘over the decades’.

In a rather unceremonious fashion, O’Connor proceeded to say that “Anyone imagining prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land.”

O’Connor further claimed that Hall spiked her years ago at Eddie Murphy’s house. She goes on to say that she has reported Hall to the Carver County Sheriff’s Office.

Her statement can be read in full below:

According to People Magazine, Traci Harper, a representative for Hall has responded to O’Connor’s claims, saying: “The statement regarding Arsenio Hall is absolutely false, ridiculous and absurd.”
