Awful news.
Two men have died following a fatal road traffic collision that took place in Sligo on Sunday evening, 5 June.
The crash occurred at approximately 5.20pm on the N15 in Rathcormack.
Three cars were involved in the collision. Two men; the driver and passenger of one vehicle, were fatally injured during the incident.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to the scene on Sunday evening, closing the N15 off to the general public in order to carry out a technical examination. The road has since re-opened to traffic.
Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have witnessed the collision to make contact with them.
Any road users who may have camera footage – including dash-cam – of the Rathcormack area between 5pm and 5.30pm on Sunday are asked to make this available.
