Being honest, we had little idea that there was a new Ireland away strip on the way until a little birdie called Simon Cox tweeted this snap of it earlier today.
It wouldn’t be the first time that Ireland have had a black away strip, but in our own humble opinion, the latest effort is a step up from the last black away strip that surfaced a couple of years back (see above).

The clash with Sweden on Friday week could potentially be the first time the jersey is worn by the Boys in Green, when hopefully Zlatan and company will be distracted by its sartorial appeal.
Simon Cox certainly seemed impressed by the new kit anyway, but what do you think, is it a hit or a miss?
