The National Lottery have advised players from Donegal to get checking their tickets tonight after it was announced that one lucky player has a stub worth half a million euro.
The player matched all five numbers of the draw — 14, 25, 31, 37 and 43. The player unfortunately missed out on the two Lucky Stars numbers that would have seen them bag the jackpot (2 and 3).
And in what might be even more tantalising news, the jackpot of €129,262,876 went uncollected. If one Irish player were to win that jackpot in an upcoming draw, it would be the biggest EuroMillions haul that any Irish player has ever taken in.
There’s no indication yet of where the winning ticket was sold, so anyone in Donegal who played the game is a potential winner as of right now.
