It’s not exactly a Munchie-tastic quarter-pounder and a large curry-cheese chips meal but it’s a start…
It wouldn’t be stretching it to say that law enforcement offers, whether it be our own Gardai or members of the police elsewhere, get a bad rap at times but often they are capable of being very sound indeed.
One such example is at the Seattle Hempfest this weekend, where rather than try and bust the chops of revelers gathering to chill out and smoke a little stuff, the Seattle Police Department will instead be handing out free Doritos along with literature about the new rules governing the (now legal) recreational use of marijuana in the state of Washington.
If the gesture wasn’t good enough, the manner in which it was announced was even better as the Seattle Police Department announced it via their Twitter page, where they also engaged in some very amusing back and forth conversations with Twitter users responding to their plans for the Hempfest.
Yes, we will be @seattlehempfest .But we’ll be giving out @Doritos & #Marijwhatnow literature. Please make a note of it. See you Saturday!
