16-year-old pedestrian hospitalised following collision with car in Dublin

Teenage road collision

The incident took place on Sunday night.

GardaĆ­ have issued an appeal for witnesses following a collision in Dublin that left a teenage pedestrian hospitalised.

The road traffic collision occurred on the N11 at Stillorgan Road on Sunday, 27 March.

Shortly before 10pm, GardaĆ­ and emergency services attended the scene.

The collision between a car and the pedestrian; a girl aged 16 years old, took place on the southbound lanes of the dual carriageway near Foster Avenue.

The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to St Vincent’s Hospital for treatment.

Her injuries are understood be serious, though not life-threatening.

The driver of the car was not injured.

GardaĆ­ are particularly keen to appeal to anyone who may have camera footage of the incident to make this footage available to them.
