A teenager has died just days after a Bank Holiday weekend crash in Kerry.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single-vehicle collision at approximately 5.40pm on Saturday, August 2, on the L1029 road at Deerpark, Lixnaw.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a male in his late teens, was airlifted to Cork University Hospital, where he was treated for serious injuries.
He was pronounced dead this morning, August 6.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators carried out an examination of the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Any road users who may have dash-cam footage are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí, and anyone with information is asked to contact Listowel Garda Station on (068) 50820, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
