Drivers have been warned to take care in the area.

Gardaí and Dublin Fire Brigade have warned people about an incident in Temple Bar, which they are currently tending to.

Dublin Fire Brigade took to Twitter to announce that they were at the scene of a “three pump fire”, but that all people were accounted for.

Gardaí urged people on the roads to use alternate routes, as traffic outbound from the Quays is heavy as a result of the incident.

AA Roadwatch have also told people in the area to be careful, saying: “In the city centre, emergency services are blocking the left lane and bus lane of Aston Quay, before the Ha’penny Bridge due to a fire in a building. Take care as smoke may affect visibility.”
