The person who wrote this certainly has a way with the words.

We don't know who writes the weather reports from the Achill Island Coast Guard's Facebook account (possibly Martin King, probably not), but we love this.
It always makes a violent winter storm seem like an old friend who's had a bit too much to drink, so you send him home in the nicest way possible.
