Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene of a fire in Dublin city centre that has left two people hospitalised.
In a statement to JOE, Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) said it received multiple calls at around 6.40am on Tuesday (28 April) reporting a fire in a multi-storey premises on Eden Quay in Dublin city centre.
According to multiple outlets, the blaze broke out at the back of the popular pub, The James Connolly.
"Operations are ongoing with firefighters in breathing apparatus fighting the fire," DFB said.
"Seven fire engines from Tara Street, North Strand and Phibsborough fire stations are on scene, along with three ambulances from Tara Street and North Strand fire stations."
A Garda spokesperson also told JOE that two people have been conveyed to hospital for treatment of injuries.
These injuries are believed to be "non-life-threatening at this time".
Due to the blaze, traffic restrictions are in place, and Luas services are affected.
"One lane on Eden Quay is currently open to traffic. The Rosie Hackett Luas bridge is currently closed," a Garda spokesperson said.
Local diversions are in place, as investigations into the fire are ongoing.
