Careful now.

The porn and betting sites accessed by on Oireachtas computers in the last four months have been revealed.

Under the Freedom of Information Act, The Irish Daily Mail have revealed that porn sites such as YouPorn and freesexhd were used despite a firewall being in place.

In fact, thousands of attempts to access the sites were made in the last four months alone.

Popular gambling websites were also frequently looked at, despite the fact that access to porn and gambling websites was reportedly banned in 2014 to prevent staff from looking at illicit material.

The computer records belong to civil servants, journalists, contractors and visitors to the Dáil, rather than TDs and their staff.

A spokeswoman within the Oireachtas stated that ‘its IT unit continually monitors, examines and enhances its computer systems.’
