The actor, along with the rest of his family, has tested positive for the virus.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has tested positive for Covid-19.

The actor confirmed the news to his fans via an Instagram video on Wednesday night.

The former wrestler, who is now the world’s highest-paid actor, said that he, his wife and two daughters caught the virus despite being “disciplined” about health protection.

Johnson says that he caught the virus from close family friends who were unaware that they had the virus.

In a video that is almost 12 minutes long, he says that it is one of the most challenging and difficult things that he and his family have had to endure.

He said: “Testing positive for Covid-19 is much different than overcoming nasty injuries, or being evicted or even being broke, which I have been more than a few times.

“It baffles me that some people out there, including some politicians, will take this idea of wearing masks and make it part of a political agenda.

“It has nothing to do with politics. Wear your mask. It is a fact. And it is the right thing to do.”
