While the banner looks fine at first glance, on close inspection it includes three figures - Daniel O'Connell, Charles Stewart Parnell and Henry Grattan - all who were long deceased by 1916.
Meanwhile, the other image of John Redmond has not gone down well, as he targeted thousands of Irish citizens to fight on behalf of the British Army in World War I.
This has not gone unnoticed and now a petition has been set up on Care2 to have the banner removed.
The aim is to get 50,000 signatures and if you're interested you can get involved right here.
