He’s been condemned by Republicans such as Senator John McCain.
In Tuesday night’s press conference, Donald Trump once again blamed both sides for the violence which occurred in Charlottesville, Virginia.
In a statement on Monday, he condemned the white supremacists, but in a a press conference on Tuesday, he also blamed the left-wing supporters who charged at the “alt-right”.
But one of the most bizarre things was his response when asked if he was going to visit Charlottesville.
This guy…
"I own, actually, one of the largest wineries in the United States It's in Charlottesville."

“Does anyone know I own a house in Charlottesville?”
But it was his comments during the press conference that drew criticism from many sides, including from Senator John McCain who said: “There is no moral equivalency between racists & Americans standing up to defy hate & bigotry.”
There's no moral equivalency between racists & Americans standing up to defy hate& bigotry. The President of the United States should say so

Firstly, he defended people taking taking part in the “Unite the Right” demonstration in Charlottesville.
“Not all of those people were neo-Nazis, believe me. Not all of those people were white supremacists, by any stretch. Those people were also there because they wanted to protest the taking down of a statue, Robert E. Lee.”
He also debated whether or not the attack that killed Heather Heyor was “terrorism.”
“You can call it terrorism. You can call it murder. You can call it whatever you want. I would just call it as the fastest one to come up with a good verdict. That’s what I’d call it. Because there is a question. Is it murder? Is it terrorism? And then you get into legal semantics. The driver of the car is a murderer. And what he did was a horrible, horrible, inexcusable thing.”
The President was also asked about the ‘alt-right” in Charlottesville.
Trump spoke about the violence at the weekend and who he thought was responsible.
