Those four lads completed their 32-county charity trek with loads of time to spare

The four lads we featured last week completed their charity 24 hour 32 county challenge with time to spare!

The challenge was put down to raise as much money as possible for Crumlin Children’s Hospital. They started in the early hours of Sunday morning and we are happy to announce that they completed the challenge.

We told you on Friday about four lads, (Max Rantz-McDonald, Franko Mc Swiney, Cathal O’Brien, Paddy Rhatigan) and their mission to try and visit every county of Ireland in 24 hours. With all funds raised going to Crumlin Hospital, we’re pleased to confirm the lads completed the challenge in a time of 18 hours, 38 minutes and 58 seconds, covering a distance of 1,023 kms in total. Pretty impressive stuff!

For the doubters out there, they took pics of all the border signs they passed and checked in on Facebook to prove authenticity. You can view all the pics they took for the 32 different border signs here on their Facebook page.

That’s an incredibly fast time given the challenge and if you are wondering what route they took, have a gander at the pic below.
