Three former employees of Anglo Irish Bank have been given jail sentences for hiding accounts from Revenue.
All three have been prosecuted for hiding information about accounts relating to Sean FitzPatrick, the bank’s former chairman.
RTÉ reports that Tiarnan O’Mahoney, the former chief operating officer, was given three years; Bernard Daly, the bank’s company secretary, was jailed for two years; Aoife Maguire, a former assistant manager at the bank, was sentenced to 18 months behind bars.
All sentences begin immediately.
Nothing suspended in #anglo sentences.
