Three men assaulted by man with dog in Waterford

The man attacked the men with a knife and a dog.

A man will appear before Waterford District Court this morning (23 April), charged with an assault that landed three men in hospital.

A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed this morning that Gardaí investigating an assault that occurred in the Bayview area of Tramore last week (16 April) have charged a man in his 30s.

The victims of the assault were three men, aged in their 60s, 30s and 20s. All three were brought to University Hospital Waterford with injuries that were described by Gardaí as “non-life-threatening”. Gardaí also specified that the attack involved a knife and a dog.

The suspect will appear in court to face the charges on Thursday morning.
