Three people have been killed in separate road traffic collisions.
A pedestrian in his 40s was killed after he was struck by a car at Ballyroughan Big, in Carlow yesterday, Saturday, November 1.
The accident occurred around 4.30pm, and the driver of the car, 60s, was uninjured.
In Kildare, a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian occurred between junction 8 and junction 7 on the N7 motorway eastbound at Kill around 3.30pm yesterday, Saturday, November 1.
The pedestrian, a man aged in his 30s, was seriously injured and taken to Tallaght University Hospital where he later passed away as a result of his injuries.
The bus driver, a man in his 30s, was uninjured as well as two passengers who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A single-vehicle crash occurred in Galway overnight, on the L2107 at Cappadavock, Tuam at approximately 4.30am this morning, Sunday, November 2.
The sole occupant of the car, a man in his 30s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The deceased has since been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Galway, where a post-mortem examination will be arranged.
With regard to all incidents, Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed these collisions to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were traveling near the site of the crashes are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
