Three people have been stabbed at a school in a major UK city.
Police rushed to the scene this morning after reports that "three people have been injured" with "knife wounds".
Emergency services rushed to Co-op Academy on Plant Hill Road, Blackley in Greater Manchester this morning.
A schoolgirl has been arrested, as per police.
A statement from Greater Manchester police read: "Three people have been injured however injuries aren't believed to be serious at this time.
"Emergency services remain on scene and we are supporting the school. There is not believed to be any wider threat to the pupils and staff in the school."
Police and ambulance vehicle surrounded the school with a helicopter also being pictured overhead.
As per the MEN, the school is currently on lockdown.
Police has said that there is no wider threat to pupils and staff at the school currently.
The injuries are not believed to be serious.
