The second warning is a Status Yellow wind and rain warning for Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford, Galway, Mayo and Wexford. The warning is in place from 2am to 11pm on Saturday, December 30 and, according to the forecaster, "southwest winds will be strong and gusty at times coupled with heavy rain and thundery showers." Potential Impacts of the warning include, surface flooding, wave overtopping, loose debris, objects displaced and difficult travelling conditions. The final warning issued by Met Éireann is a Status Yellow wind warning for Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick, valid from 11pm on Saturday, December 30 until 5pm on Sunday, December 31.
