Checks are being conducted in the area after a possible explosive device was said to be found in some luggage on one of the trains.

The potentially explosive device was discovered at 8am local time (7am GMT) on Wednesday morning, and at the moment, the spokesperson has stated that Barcelona police are following protocol.
