Many of you out there were no doubt delighted with the extra hour in the pub last night or in the bed this morning. Donegal footballer Mark McHugh got a little carried away, however.
If you didn’t know already and your watch is still on yesterday’s time, the clocks went back an hour last night and people across the country rejoiced in having an extra hour under the covers this morning.
JOE certainly appreciated it as it delayed the process of having to start the dreaded and compulsory (honest) 3am Sunday morning shift by another 60 minutes, but we weren’t quite as appreciative as Donegal footballer Mark McHugh judging by his Twitter posts this morning.

In fairness to Mark, he received his first All-Star on Friday night so he had more reason than most to be in a good mood this weekend, but please Mark, keep such carnal thoughts to yourself in future, especially at that hour of the morning!
