We like to give out about the candidates running for election on occasion, but it’s important that Irish people eligible to vote exercise their democratic right to do so and get to the polls today.
The polls have been open from 7am this morning and plenty of people have been out to vote around the country already.
It has been heartening to see that Irish people living abroad who are still eligible to vote recognise the importance of doing so and have been coming home in great numbers to exercise that right, as has been evident with the use of the
