Now that sounds like a debate.
Some of the televised leaders’ debates in the run-up to the General Election have been underwhelming to say the least, but that couldn’t be said about a debate carried out on KCLR FM tonight.
All 15 candidates in the Carlow/Kilkenny constituency showed up in the studio to debate the important issues before the country goes to the polls on Friday and judging by some of the tweets from the KCLR account, it escalated fairly quickly.
