
Two men arrested after woman is stabbed in Kerry
A teenager and a man in his 20s have been arrested.
Two men have been arrested in connection with an assault on a woman in Kerry on Sunday night (7 August).
A woman in her 20s was taken to hospital following a stabbing incident in the Ballymullen area of Tralee at around 11pm.
The woman's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and she is receiving treatment at Kerry University Hospital.
A technical examination of the scene took place on Monday morning.
Two men - one in their late teens and the other in their mid 20s - have been arrested in connection with this incident and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Tralee Garda station.
