Two men in Ireland have died this week in separate workplace accidents.
The first of these incidents occurred on Tuesday (28 January) at a premises in Arklow, Wicklow.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the workplace accident at around 5.30pm.
A man in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
In a statement, Gardaí said that a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
The other workplace accident occurred on Wednesday (29 January) at a premises in Ballyshannon, Donegal.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to the incident at around 1pm.
A man in his 60s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"A post-mortem examination will take place in due course," Gardaí said.
In both cases, An Garda Síochána confirmed that The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) were notified and attended the scene and that a file will be prepared for the Coroner's Court.
