Two men have been injured after a serious single-vehicle road crash in Meath.
The collision occurred at around 1.55am on Saturday (27 August) in the Bunboggan area of Athboy.
A male passenger in the car involved was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar to be treated for his serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the male driver of the vehicle was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda with his injuries described as non-life-threatening.
A Garda spokesperson said investigations into the collision are ongoing.
