Two police officers in England are receiving treatment after being stabbed in Chelmsford, according to BBC Essex.
Andy Prophet, the Assistant Chief Constable for the Essex Police confirmed that one of the officers was stabbed in the arm and another was stabbed in the leg. While surgery was required, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, according to the Daily Star.
A criminal investigation of the incident is now underway, and a 50-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and attempted murder.

According to the Daily Star, police were called to a house in Chelmsford when concerns were raised over the safety of a person. It was then that they were attacked by the knifewoman.
The name of the attacker has not yet been made public.
