Two trains have collided in Italy, killing more than a dozen people

At least 12 people have been killed after two trains collided in Southern Italy.

The crash happened near the town of Andria in the Puglia region. Details of the extent of the tragedy were not immediately made available by police, with news agencies stating that emergency services are currently at the scene. At least a dozen people have been killed, with many more injured. An aerial image has showed the extent of the damage, with debris scattered on either side of the single track close to an olive grove.
