A moment of solidarity at such a trying time.
The Stade de France was one a number of locations across Paris targeted in last night’s shocking attacks on the French capital, attacks which have accounted for at least 128 lives.
The French football team took on Germany in a match at the venue last night, a match that was attended by French President Francois Hollande.
A number of explosions could be heard while the game was taking place and fans gathered on the pitch when the game was over before being evacuated later in the evening.
During the evacuation, large groups of French fans leaving the venue began singing La Marseillaise in a powerful show of solidarity on one of the bleakest days in the country’s recent history.
