Through work, location or just life, many of Ireland’s sons and daughters will have missed today’s 1916 centenary commemorations.
Thankfully, UTV Ireland have put together a highlight reel of the events.
It includes President Michael D Higgins’ visit to the Stonebreakers Yard in Kilmainham Gaol, where many of the leaders of the Rising were executed in the Spring of 1916.
It also features a spectacular flypast O’Connell Street from the Irish Air Corps.
It’s definitely worth a view.
