Thankfully, nobody was hurt.
Dublin Fire Brigade spent most of last night battling a huge gorse fire in Howth.
Four units from the Dublin Fire Brigade were called at 5:30pm to deal with the fire which was spreading across Howth Head. The emergency services used a drone to monitor the blaze, for fears that it would spread to houses nearby.
Thankfully, no one was hurt, and they shared video footage of the fire.

Meanwhile, in Kildare, a similar fire broke out near Naas. It was brought under control with no damage done to any properties.
