Breaking News: Jeremy Clarkson has been shot by the BBC… according to James May.

James May was only joking of course, but he did go on to say he was saddened by the fact that “what ought to have been a small incident sorted out easily, turned into something big”.

When asked about whether Top Gear will continue, Capt. Slow said, “I’m sure Top Gear will continue in some way. It existed before us, it’s been reformatted several times.”

So Top Gear may continue, but it doesn’t look like Hammond or May will be a part of it.

When asked “will you stay at Top Gear?”, James replied: “We’re very much, the three of us, a package. It works for very complicated reasons that a lot of people don’t fully understand.”

And finally, before James returned inside to ‘post an eBay listing for his Ferrari’, he said, “As much as I think he’s a knob, I quite like working with Jeremy”.
