This doesn’t look ferry safe…
We’ve just come across this video which features a car ferry in Greece loading a rake of cars before setting off on its routine voyage. That all sounds normal enough, however, the video has left us scratching our heads.
Loading a ferry might seem like a relatively easy enough task, but this isn’t your average port of call. Why? Well, there’s no seawall to help calm the waters near the shore, so the ferry is forced to load the car in rough seas and we mean seriously rough seas… Check it out above.
Surprisingly, this doesn’t appear to be an uncommon occurrence in Greece, especially if this video from 2013 is anything to go by.
