The Godfather of skateboarding is in town to speak at the Web Summit.
It was not every day the greatest skateboarder in the world makes an appearance in Dublin and it certainly isn’t every day that he roams down to Bushy Park in Dublin 6 and puts on a show for spectators.
But that is exactly what happened for the public when the legendary skater showed up for a one-off appearance at the skate park with a lucky bunch of people there watching on.
He showed off some pretty sweet skills but the great man is not infallible and even wiped out and one stage, as we are sure countless others have before him in the very same park. Have a look here…
It was great to see Tony out connecting with all the locals and encouraging the sport in Ireland. “We really like Tony!”
We still remember playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater on the PlayStation One and we would like to take this opportunity to challenge Tony to a skate off… in the game of course.
