Video: Polish Embassy says “go raibh míle maith agaibh” to the people of Ireland

The staff of the Polish Embassy in Dublin wanted to say thanks to the people of Ireland for our kindness over the past ten years, so they made this lovely little video.

Not only did the lads at the Polish Embassy (located on Ailesbury Rd, Dublin 4) say thanks to the people of Ireland for “the openness and kindness they have shown to Poles in Ireland over the past decade”, but they also managed to inject a bit of craic into the video too.

They (sort of) take the piss out of our ‘unusual sports’, ‘cheerful and easy to read books’, ‘beautiful weather’ and ‘healthy foods’, which we thought was priceless.

Fair play to all involved and if anyone at the Polish Embassy is reading this, we’d like to say: Dziękujemy!

We will admit that our Polish isn’t the best and to be honest, we resorted to Google Translate for the ‘Thank You’ message above. So if we’ve inadvertently said something terrible about your mothers, we do apologise.
