Tony Cuddihy

The protests have been spreading since the Republican candidate’s victory over Hillary Clinton.

American flags have been burned and riots have broken out in certain parts of the United States, as anti-Trump protesters rail against the election of the country’s next President.

Chants of ‘Not Our President’ have broken out, with car windows smashed and vehicles set on fire.

People have also sat down in front of traffic.

The Manhattan streets were filled with thousands of people chanting ‘Not my President,’ while in Los Angeles protesters sat on the 110 and 101 highway interchange in an ongoing protest.

Many of the protesters were college and high school students.
