In the wake of the Brock Turner case, many are discussing the differences in the way the mainstream media portray white people and black people when they are involved in a crime as either the perpetrator or the victim. The disparity in how black people and white people portrayed is, of course, not solely confined to the media - as one Twitter user discovered when trawling through the Google image search results for 'three black teenagers' and 'three white teenagers'.
