If we were to ask you what you thought was the biggest Facebook Live video of the year, you’d probably have come back with something from Euro 2016, or perhaps a clip from the General Election in February, or maybe even the 1916 commemorations during Easter.
Well, not quite.
Three brothers from Mountcharles in Co. Donegal – Luca, Finn and Dempsey Byrne – performed the biggest Facebook Live clip in the entire country on 2016.
With more than 3m views, it was well out in front of another massively popular Irish dancing clip.
This one came from Ennis and was filmed by TG4 in August.
A Ronan Keating duet with his daughter Ali came third, with Mrs Brown’s Boys Live taking fourth spot.
