VIDEO: Wakeboarder makes the most of Storm Frank floods in Monaghan

Eoghan Doherty

Getting from A to B via Sea…

It’s fair to say that Storm Frank hasn’t been kind to Ireland over the past few days, but as with any dire situation, Irish people have also managed to maintain their positivity and make the most of the bad situation.

These two lads didn’t let rising floodwater stop them from finishing their pints, while this Tipp lady spent an afternoon wakeboarding around the flooded roads of her home county.

It seems that she may have also inspired Chris Hoey from Monaghan, who decided to take his own board out for a spin yesterday evening.

Sent into us by JOE reader Evelyn Boylan, the footage was filmed just outside the shopping centre in Monaghan town.
