Those Munster fellas are a cut above the rest…

Having already brought you the inspirational highlights package from Today FM’s incredibly successful, world record-breaking ‘Shave Or Dye’ campaign, you can now check out how Matt Cooper and members of the Munster Rugby team – a squad who are used to being involved in some very hairy situations of their own –  got on as they did their beefy bit for the Irish Cancer Society.

According to the official Today FM description, “The Last Word traveled to Cork’s Musgrave Park last week to catch up with the Munster Rugby squad as they took part in Today FM’s Shave or Dye 2014 in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.  We sent along a video camera to capture the process and you can see the lads going under the blade.”

The Munster Rugby website details how the likes of James Coughlan, Andrew Conway, Billy Holland, Tommy O’Donnell, Johne Murphy, Duncan Casey and Alan Cotter all went for the shaved head option. Reaching for the hair dye, meanwhile, were Simon Zebo, Denis Hurley, James Downey, Cathal Sheridan and CJ Stander.

Tip of the hat to you Alan ‘Greenbeard’ Cotter for undoubtedly winning the battle of the beards…
