Video: WIT student can’t stop his laptop playing ‘Let it Go’ in the college library after being pranked by his mates

As cruel and evil as this prank undoubtedly is, it’s still brilliant.

As cruel and evil as this prank undoubtedly is, it’s still brilliant.

It’s exam time in colleges and universities throughout the country, which means that college libraries are currently packed to capacity and will soon return to their usual half-empty state before everyone returns in the lead-up to summer exams next year.

With so many people in such close proximity and because it’s so quiet you could hear a pin drop, the last thing you want to do is draw attention to yourself and be a source of embarrassment in front of your peers.

There’s not a whole lot you can do if your friends cause that embarrassment for you, however, as was the case in Waterford IT yesterday, where poor Shay Dempsey was the victim of a cruel prank perpetrated by two of his mates, Pa Fitz and Adam Hayes.

We’re not sure exactly how they did it, but Pa and Adam fixed it that Shay’s laptop played ‘Let it Go’ from Frozen at a significant volume in front of a sizeable audience and try as Shay might, he simply couldn’t turn it off.

In the end, Shay was left with little option but to get up and leave and bring his laptop with him, but in fairness to him, he took it quite well and is no doubt plotting revenge as we speak.

Well played lads.

Hat-tip to Pa Fitz and Adam Hayes for sending this one our way
