Be advised.
So much for summer, it's time for yet another round of rainfall.
That's the message from Met Éireann on Monday morning (27 June) as three separate Status Yellow warnings come into play, with five counties affected.
According to the national forecaster, spells of heavy rain are set for Galway, Mayo, Kerry, Cork and Waterford.
All three warnings carry the same sentiment – heavy rain, which will be heaviest in coastal and mountainous areas, with localised flooding and isolated thunderstorms possible.
The warning for Galway, Mayo and Kerry is valid from 1pm on Monday until 10am on Tuesday.
The warning for Cork is in place from 6pm on Monday until 12pm on Tuesday.
Finally, the warning for Waterford will come into effect from 10pm on Monday and will remain valid until 2pm on Tuesday.
This morning will be mainly dry & sunny in most areas
Cloud will increase from the west with rain developing along the west coast by noon & then extending over much of the western half of the country, becoming heavy at times☁️🌧️
