That's the message from Met Éireann on Monday morning (27 June) as three separate Status Yellow warnings come into play, with five counties affected.

According to the national forecaster, spells of heavy rain are set for Galway, Mayo, Kerry, Cork and Waterford.

All three warnings carry the same sentiment – heavy rain, which will be heaviest in coastal and mountainous areas, with localised flooding and isolated thunderstorms possible.

The warning for Galway, Mayo and Kerry is valid from 1pm on Monday until 10am on Tuesday.
