The British behemoth pub chain is going to have a very large Irish presence in the next few years.

The Irish Times are reporting that Wetherspoons have announced a five year plan for Ireland which will see them open another 30 pubs. Wetherspoons already operates two pubs on the southside of Dublin and it also has acquired five more sites in Dublin, Cork and Waterford, which are currently under development.

The company plans to spend €50 million establishing the 30 pubs over the next five years and they have said that the new jobs will include management roles as well as jobs for bar, kitchen and front of house staff.
