Ranea Crabtree, who doesn't like to use her first name Sheila as she feels it doesn't suit her, told Fox 8 in Cleveland that she had decided to do it without telling anyone (even her husband) and didn't expect that people would find out about it.
However, as part of the application process, you have to publish a notice in the paper stating that you intend to change your name and what your new moniker will be, and after that she began receiving calls from local newspapers and media outlets, and the story has since gone viral.
The decision is expected from a judge on February 11th as to whether they can call her Sexy or not, but she said that even if she's denied, she'll apply again with a different suggestion, hinting that 'Sparkle' might be next on the list.
