The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning ticket for last night’s extraordinary €250,000,000 EuroMillions jackpot was purchased in-store in the Munster region.
The punter has made history with the prize, becoming the highest-ever winner of an Irish National Lottery game.
Taking place on Tuesday, 17 June, the winning numbers in the draw were as follows: 13, 22, 23, 44, 49, while the lucky stars were 3 and 5.
In addition to the main EuroMillions jackpot, last night also brought riches to a EuroMillions Plus player in Wicklow. This was after they successfully matched all five winning numbers to secure the top prize of €500,000.
The Plus player purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw, from Selskar Bookshop, Townparks in Wexford.
The numbers for last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw were: 11, 19, 30, 39 and 50.
The record-breaking €250 million win eclipses the €175 million record for the largest cheque presented in the famous Winners' Room.
That winning ticket was sold in Reilly's Daybreak on Main Street, The Naul in Dublin in February 2019.
Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery, said in a statement: “What a night for our EuroMillions players. Not only did we see 92,000 players in Ireland win prizes, including our top prize in EuroMillions Plus, but we also saw the historic jackpot being won by an Irish player.
"We are continuing to advise all EuroMillions players in the Munster region to check their tickets very carefully to see if they have landed this mega windfall. We’re looking forward to sharing more details about the win in the coming days!”
Players are being reminded that all National Lottery prizes must be claimed within 90 days of the draw date.
If you believe you are the winner, you are encouraged to sign the back of your ticket and contact the National Lottery immediately by calling 1800 666 222 or emailing claims@lottery.ie.
The main EuroMillions jackpot reached its maximum cap of €250 million on Friday, 6 June 2025, meaning that the prize could not grow any further.
The lucky punter who scooped the jackpot has become Ireland’s 18th winner of the EuroMillions top prize.
