The winning location of this weekend’s massive €8.7 million Lotto jackpot has been revealed.
One lucky player woke up a multi-millionaire this Bank Holiday weekend following last night’s draw which boasted a huge jackpot of €8,726,418.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning numbers (01, 07, 27, 28, 34, 42 and the bonus was 26) belonged to a Dublin player.
Matching all six numbers and the bonus in the main Lotto draw, the player in the capital has become the second Lotto jackpot winner of 2026.
The location of the winning shop will be announced on Wednesday.
Spokesperson for the National Lottery, Sarah Orr, commented: “What a weekend it’s been for National Lottery players all over the country.
"A Lotto player in Dublin has officially become Ireland’s newest millionaire after winning Saturday night’s Lotto jackpot worth an impressive €8,726,418.
"We are encouraging all of our players in the capital to carefully check their tickets today as one player now holds the title of second Lotto jackpot winner of 2026.”
The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket, keep it safe and contact the lottery’s Prize Claims team and arrangements will be made for them to visit the headquarters and collect their winnings.
